Education & Qualification
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certification in Electrical/Electronics
OR Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Experience
Minimum 5 years in CNC bending or sheet-metal fabrication
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC bending machines in accordance with job orders and engineering drawings.
Read and interpret technical blue-prints, manufacturing drawings and work orders to determine bending operations.
Select, install and adjust tools/dies and machine settings (angle, back-gauge, stroke, etc.) to meet specifications.
Perform trial or first-piece runs and make necessary adjustments for dimensional accuracy and quality.
Monitor and inspect bent parts during production for adherence to tolerances, ensure correct bending angles and finish.
Maintain machine operation records, production output logs and defect reports.
Carry out routine machine maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, minor adjustments, check tooling condition, and escalate technical issues.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum five years' relevant experience in operating CNC bending or similar sheet-metal fabrication machines.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
Hands-on experience in tooling set-up, machine calibration and adjustment of bending machines.
