Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

CNC Pipe Bending Operator

to join our production team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC tube/pipe bending machines to create precise bends in pipes of various diameters and materials (Steel, SS, Copper, Aluminum).

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup:

Select and install the correct

Mandrels, Wiper Dies, and Pressure Dies

based on the pipe diameter.

Programming:

Load bend data (YBC or XYZ coordinates) into the CNC controller for multi-angle bending.

Operation:

Feed pipes into the machine and ensure the

Rotation and Feed

are correct to avoid wrinkles or cracks.

Quality Check:

Use

Radius Gauges

and

Vernier Calipers

to check the bend angle and pipe ovality.

Blueprint Reading:

Interpret technical drawings to understand the

Center Line Radius (CLR)

and bend degrees.

Material Handling:

Check pipe quality for any surface defects before bending.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education:

ITI (Fitter/Machinist) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

2+ years of experience specifically with

CNC Pipe/Tube Bending

machines.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of pipe wall thickness, "Spring-back" calculations, and mandrel adjustments.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to handle and move long pipes safely.
