The primary goal of the operator is to produce accurate and high-quality bent parts in accordance with engineering drawings and customer requirements. Responsibilities:

Key Skills Required

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication drawings accurately. Sound knowledge of CNC Press Brake machines and their operation. Proficient in using measuring instruments such as

vernier calipers, measuring tape, angle gauges

, etc. Strong understanding of

bending parameters

, including bend allowance, bend deduction, and springback. Hands-on experience in

tool selection (punch & die)

based on material type and thickness. Ability to

set up CNC press brake machines

, including adjustment of back gauge, ram depth, bending angles, and tooling alignment. Awareness of safety procedures and quality standards during bending operations

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience as a CNC Bending Machine Operator or similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficient in reading engineering drawings, understanding geometric dimensions and tolerances, and familiarity with CNC programming.

Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address issues during the bending process.

Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in the production of bent parts.

Safety Conscious: Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy materials.

Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
