The Cloud Managed Services Operations team within Cloud Managed Services provides support to run the business including the following: financial management, billing and collections, practice communications, business development and sales strategy support, practice budgeting, utilization and leadership support.

We are looking for a strong Azure DevOps Engineer specializing in DevOps to join our Azure Center of Excellence technical team and be front and center in the transformation to cloud-based architectures while at the same time playing an influential role in transforming our customers into cloud-ready companies. As a Cloud Solutions Architect - DevOps, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining the integration and deployment processes. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and can collaborate well with the overall project group. Essential Functions

• Develop and deliver DevOps Consulting Solutions to clients
• Provide technical leadership across all areas of the build, release, and operations, to ensure delivery of exceptional DevOps technical solutions
• Analyzing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices
• Automating processes with the right tools
• Facilitating development processes and operations
• Establish a suitable DevOps channel across the organization
• Executing rapid technical feasibility studies for moving identified workloads to Azure
• Defining and building technical documentation for security architectures, configuration management definitions, and operational readiness plans
• Selecting a migration approach to move workloads to Azure or architecting a greenfield development or production platform for new applications
• Executing Architecture Design Sessions (ADS), Solution Alignment Workshops (SAW), or Proofs of Concept (POC) Workshops
• Driving onboarding plans in conjunction with customers
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Terraform and Azure DevOps, and provide technical leadership to the team in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code solutions.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations teams, to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and application components.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization, and drive the implementation of best practices within the team.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures. Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field experience. Master\'s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Terraform, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and version control.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in Github Enterprise, including Github actions, release management, and infrastructure automation
• Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with clients.
• Certifications in Terraform and Azure DevOps are highly desirable.
• Technical experience in any of the following Azure services and technologies:

o Azure Resource Manager APIs and Deployment Methodologies
o Azure Application Services and Micro Services Patterns
o Azure Compute
o Azure Storage
o Azure Networking
o Azure Security and Identity
o Azure Backup and Recovery
o Azure Container Services

• Demonstrated skill-building deep technical relationships with executives and technical leads within customer organizations
• Able to set and lead the technical vision while balancing business drivers and imperatives to help partners build profitable Azure/cloud businesses
• Ability to build technical and business credibility with senior executives and grow mind share with highly strategic customers and partners
• Preferred Agile with SCRUM experience
• Strong experience with Windows and/ or Linux administration within an automation context
• Experience with multi-tier application stacks
• Strong Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Terraform, JSON, Python, etc.)
• Source Code Management (Git)
• Certifications for the following are highly desirable: AZ-300/AZ 303 Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, AZ-301/AZ 304 Microsoft Azure Architect Design, AZ 400 Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
