CMM Inspector - Experienced (PC-DMIS Software)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

CMM Inspector

with strong knowledge of

PC-DMIS software

to perform complex dimensional inspections of precision-machined components. The ideal candidate must be capable of programming, setting up, and operating CMM machines independently and ensuring all measurements meet engineering and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Create, modify, and optimize

CMM programs using PC-DMIS

for dimensional inspection of precision parts. Perform

first-piece, in-process, and final inspection

using CMM and other measuring equipment. Inspect components with tight tolerances and generate

detailed inspection reports

. Validate and verify dimensions using CMM along with manual tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.). Troubleshoot CMM measurement issues, program errors, and coordinate with production/quality teams. Work with Quality Engineers and CNC machinists to improve process accuracy and resolve quality concerns. Ensure all inspection activities comply with

ISO / QMS standards

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, or related technical field.

1 year of hands-on experience

as a CMM Inspector in a CNC machining or precision engineering environment. Strong experience in

PC-DMIS programming

(mandatory). Thorough understanding of

GD&T

, tolerances, and 3D CAD interpretation. Ability to inspect complex geometries and high-precision components. Knowledge of additional metrology tools is an advantage.
