Qualification:

B. Tech/Diploma (Mechanical) / CIPET

Experience:

Minimum 3 Years

Industry Preference:

Automotive / Ancillary Plastic Injection Moulding Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities / KRAs:

Understanding of

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

. Measuring all products, including

injection molded parts and assemblies

. Calibration of all

check fixtures and measuring devices

. Working with the

Engineering team

to address issues. Participating in and assisting with

problem-solving & analysis

.

Responsible for

CMM activities

for all

new product development parts

. Calibrate

Fixtures, Gauges, and Tools

using CMM. Inspection of

incoming pilot lots

as per Quality Standards. Conduct

periodic audits

of in-house machined & assembled parts. Maintain

CMM equipment

and plan for

spare parts

of precision instruments. Ensure

calibration of instruments & fixtures

and maintain reports. Handle

Co-ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

, Vernier Calipers, Height Gauges, and Micrometers. Capture

component profiles

using the

Contour Option (CMM)

. Perform

line inspection

for first and last reports. Maintain documents such as

Product Audit & Layout Inspection Reports

. Collect data from

in-process and final inspection reaction registers

, calculate

Rejection PPM & Rework PPM

. Control

quality at in-process and final stages

of production. Develop

CMM programming & setup

. Review and analyze

technical drawings & feasibility

. Support

gauge concept development
