Job Description

A Senior Cluster Manager in a warehouse setting typically oversees operations across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards. This role involves managing teams, developing and implementing operational strategies, and driving performance to meet business objectives within the designated cluster.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all warehouse locations within the cluster, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

Team Leadership:

Managing and developing warehouse teams, including supervisors and associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Performance Management:

Monitoring and evaluating team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions when necessary, and driving continuous improvement.

Process Optimization:

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse operations.

Inventory Management:

Overseeing inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and physical inventories, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing discrepancies.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

Budget Management:

Managing the budget for the cluster, monitoring expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Vendor Management:

Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers and other vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Reporting and Analysis:

Preparing and presenting regular reports on key performance metrics, identifying trends, and recommending solutions to address operational challenges.

Strategic Planning:

Contributing to the development of long-term strategic plans for the cluster, aligning with overall business objectives.
