The Cluster Head - Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for supervising and managing the operations, service delivery, and quality assurance of speech-language pathology services across multiple units/branches. This includes clinical supervision, administrative leadership, team development, and ensuring evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:Clinical Responsibilities:
Oversee and support the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards of practice across all centers.
Review and approve therapy plans and monitor progress for critical cases.
Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with psychologists, occupational therapists, and other health professionals.
Managerial and Administrative Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of speech therapists across assigned branches/units.
Monitor clinical performance, provide mentoring, and conduct performance evaluations.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for therapy services.
Organize training programs, workshops, and case discussions for professional development.
Handle recruitment, onboarding, and resource allocation within the cluster.
Maintain therapy schedules, patient records, documentation, and reporting systems.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards.
Quality and Strategy:
Conduct audits to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
Analyze caseload trends, therapy outcomes, and feedback to enhance service delivery.
Develop strategies to expand services and outreach within the cluster.
Represent the department in leadership meetings and liaise with senior management.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP/M.Sc. in SLP) from a recognized university.
Licensure/Registration:
RCI registration (Rehabilitation Council of India) is mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary settings is a plus.

Clinical expertise in handling pediatric and adult cases.
