Job Description

Summary



The Cluster Head will lead the implementation of ReGreen Nation program activities at the cluster level. The role involves planning, execution, monitoring, and team coordination to ensure the effective implementation of environmental and community development projects in multiple villages.

Key Responsibilities



1. Planning and Coordination



Prepare annual and quarterly plans for environmental projects within the assigned cluster. o Coordinate with field coordinators, village-level workers, and partner organizations for program implementation. Design and plan environmental activities based on local needs and field conditions. Ensure smooth coordination with other clusters and the district team for alignment and reporting.

2. Project Implementation



Implement environmental activities including: -Plantation and maintenance -Water harvesting and water management -Biodiversity conservation -Fire prevention and waste management -Material, labour, and transport management Plan and supervise daily tasks of field teams and ensure effective execution. Facilitate community participation to ensure long-term sustainability of environmental actions. Ensure timely mobilization of labour and earth-moving equipment. Address and resolve labour-related issues across all villages in the cluster. Prepare and submit activity and progress reports as per organizational formats and timelines.

3. Monitoring and Reporting



Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of all project activities. Collect and analyze data to track progress against planned targets. Prepare and share progress and performance reports with the district and program teams. Maintain systematic documentation of all daily project activities and outcomes.

4. Community Engagement



Build strong relationships with Gram Vikas Samitis / CFR Management Committees in each village. Conduct regular meetings with Sarpanch, Upsarpanch, Gram Panchayat members, and Gram Sevaks. Participate in village-level social and environmental events (Environment Day, Flag Hoisting, Gandhi Jayanti, etc.). Facilitate Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) exercises and prepare Village Development Plans. Organize environmental awareness sessions in Gram Sabhas, schools, and community platforms. Encourage active participation of women, youth, and students in environmental initiatives. Support implementation of livelihood programs within the cluster as per project objectives.

5. Team Management



Supervise and guide field coordinators and other team members in the cluster. Conduct regular review meetings to assess progress and address challenges. Ensure team discipline, motivation, and coordination. Build team capacity through continuous support and mentoring.

Qualification and Experience



Master's degree in social work, Rural Development, Environmental Studies, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in implementing environmental or rural development projects, preferably in the NGO sector. Proven experience in managing teams and programs at the cluster or regional level. Familiarity with government schemes, funding, and reporting processes is preferred. Must be physically fit and willing to travel to remote and hilly areas. Must possess a two-wheeler with valid driving license. Willingness to travel to any block within Nashik District as per project needs.

Pay: ₹553,765.36 - ₹1,592,949.84 per year
