is responsible for overseeing and managing occupational therapy services across a group of branches or units within the organization. This role combines clinical expertise, administrative leadership, and team coordination to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities. Clinical Oversight:
Supervise and support occupational therapists in conducting evaluations and delivering therapy for patients with physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial challenges.
Ensure adherence to best practices and evidence-based interventions.
Oversee case discussions, therapy planning, and review of complex patient cases.
Maintain quality and consistency in therapy approaches across all centers.
2. Leadership & Team Management:
Lead a team of occupational therapists across multiple centers.
Monitor performance, provide feedback, and guide professional development.
Facilitate regular team meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
Address clinical or interpersonal issues within the therapy teams.
3. Administration & Operations:
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for therapy units.
Coordinate staffing, therapy schedules, and resource allocation within the cluster.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and compliance with institutional protocols.
Liaise with other departments and senior leadership for smooth operations.
4. Quality Control & Development:
Monitor therapy outcomes, client satisfaction, and service quality.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to identify areas of improvement.
Contribute to strategic planning and expansion of therapy services.
Represent the occupational therapy cluster in clinical and administrative meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
Licensure/Registration:
Must be registered with the relevant Occupational Therapy Council (as per state/national regulations).
Experience:
Minimum
5 years
of clinical experience in occupational therapy.
Minimum
2 years
in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in pediatric, neurological, or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
