Job Title Clover - Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering (Mobile/Device Testing) Fiserv-Clover is seeking for QA professionals who will work with Product Managers and Dev Teams to understand features and technical implementation, and ensure our sites, products, and platforms perform to industry-beating quality levels. The person is expected to be result oriented, have good interpersonal skills, and should be able to work both independently and in a team environment. The person must strive to raise the bar of QA practices and establish high quality test standards with automation mindset. Mandatory Skills - Functional Testing, Database/Queries, Selenium with Java, API Testing and Mobile/Device Testing What does a successful SDETs do at Fiserv ?

• Execute integration, system, feature interaction, stress, performance testing for Clover products.
• Analyse and understand product requirements to enable software test case creation by participating in requirement gathering & analysis.
• Create and evaluate test cases for accuracy and applicability for products under test.
• Communicate testing progress through creating and maintaining test plans.
• Provide the Squad and all stakeholders with clear and real-time updates regarding test status, bug status, and overall quality about the product by monitoring failures, reporting bugs, analysing & triaging automated tests running in the Continuous Integration system.
• Find bugs and validate specifications through black box testing techniques (like test matrices, combination testing, and risk analysis) and gray box testing techniques (like
  database querying and source code analysis).
• Work side-by-side with the development team on testing in parallel and preferably automating tests in the sprints.
• Design and implement tools that improve efficiency in manual testing.

What you will do:

• Work as a part of a scrum team along with server engineers, frontend developers and Product managers. Take part in different agile ceremonies.
• Analyse and understand product requirements.
• Create and evaluate test cases for accuracy and applicability for products under test.
• Find bugs and validate specifications through black box testing techniques (like test
  matrices, combination testing, and risk analysis) and gray-box testing techniques (like database querying and source code analysis).
• Provide updates to Engr. Managers and other stakeholders with the status of testing.
• Automate test cases using appropriate tools and technologies as needed.
• Test system performance when applicable.
• Support Production deployment and Bug triage

What you will need to have:

• BS in an engineering discipline, preferably computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in black box, functional, and user flow testing technique. Have an eagle-eye for test coverage gaps, false positives or negatives. Constantly raise concerns about issues you notice, in or out of your area of ownership.
• Experience with software development tools (IDE, debugger, git, JIRA, etc).
• Basic shell scripting skills (commands like grep, cut, sed, sort, wget, etc.)
• Familiarity with JSON objects, SQL queries, data structures, Android tools (ADB, DDMS,
  Monkey, Memory Analyzer, etc.), log file analysis, etc.
• Loves to build tools that will enable the engineering team to write tests more easily.
• Desire to automate as much possible and reduce the time required to manually test our
  products.
• Constantly thinking ahead and building for future changes in an ever-changing mobile ecosystem.
• Ability to learn new tools quickly and independently.

What would be great to have:

• Experience with Continuous Integration process and tools (Github, Jira, Jenkins)
• Payment industry experience - EMVCo, PCI, EMV Contactless specifications.
• Previous experience working with point of sale.
• Able to champion quality practices within a team or within the organization
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Datadog, wavefront etc.
• Ability to Develop automated tests with the appropriate technologies. Currently, we are using \xe2\x80\x9cUI Automator \xe2\x80\x9d(Java) for Android apps and KarateUI/DSL for UI/API. SDET\xe2\x80\x99s will spend most of the time automating test scenarios for Web/API/Android apps.
• Knowledge on Mocha with JavaScript for Web, and working experience on automation of RESTful APIs. Shell scripting & Python is a plus.
