Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CloudStack Administrator to manage and support our private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure using Apache CloudStack. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing CloudStack-based environments and ensuring system performance, availability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and manage Apache CloudStack environments. Maintain virtual machines, templates, volumes, snapshots, and zones. Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues. Apply updates, patches, and security configurations to infrastructure components. Manage cloud storage (Ceph, NFS, etc.), hypervisors (KVM/Xen/VMware), and networking (VLAN, SDN). Troubleshoot system issues and provide root cause analysis. Integrate with authentication systems (LDAP/Active Directory) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform). Coordinate with development and DevOps teams to support deployment requirements. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies. Document infrastructure, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache CloudStack. Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) system administration. Experience with hypervisors (KVM preferred, Xen or VMware optional). Good understanding of cloud networking concepts (VLANs, firewalls, load balancers). Familiarity with storage systems (Ceph, NFS, iSCSI). Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation. Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, etc.). Familiarity with APIs and integration methods for cloud platforms. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
