We are looking for a

Cloud-Native Platform Engineer

to design, evolve, and scale backend systems running on modern containerized platforms. This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, cloud-native architecture, and platform reliability. You will work in complex enterprise environments, contributing both hands-on code and high-level architectural direction to ensure systems are secure, resilient, and built for scale.
This is an ideal role for engineers who enjoy owning critical systems, influencing platform architecture, and working deeply with Kubernetes and OpenShift-based ecosystems.

What You'll Be Working On

Platform & Backend Engineering


Build, enhance, and maintain backend services running on Kubernetes and OpenShift-based platforms.
Develop high-performance, enterprise-grade services primarily using

Java

, with opportunities to contribute to

Golang

-based components.
Design services that are fault-tolerant, scalable, and optimized for cloud-native environments.

Cloud-Native Architecture


Contribute to system architecture, design standards, and long-term platform roadmaps.
Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making for distributed systems.
Ensure systems follow best practices for containerization, security, and resilience.

Data & Integration


Design and optimize integrations with

Oracle databases

, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.
Work on data access patterns, transaction handling, and performance tuning in large-scale systems.

Reliability, Security & Operations


Partner with DevOps and SRE teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment strategies.
Apply best practices around container security, secrets management, and access control.
Proactively identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability bottlenecks.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration


Mentor engineers and act as a technical reference point for cloud-native and backend practices.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including platform, DevOps, QA, and architecture groups.
Drive continuous improvement in code quality, system design, and engineering maturity.

What We're Looking For


Strong experience working with

Kubernetes or OpenShift (OCP)

in production environments.
Solid hands-on background in

Java backend development

; Golang is a plus.
Deep understanding of

Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native application design

.
Experience building and operating

enterprise-scale distributed systems

.
Familiarity with concepts such as API gateways, service meshes, monitoring, and observability.
Ability to balance

hands-on development

with

architectural thinking

.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Comfortable mentoring peers and influencing technical direction across teams.
