Job Description

: Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing part of or whole technical solution for the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design with focus on server automation in a private cloud service offering
• Occasionally responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions
• May lead small to medium technical projects, working with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives
• Provides technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment
• Provides support to other teams especially related to creation of new OS images for use in private cloud offering
• Provides support to other teams by packaging software into deployable packages using Micro Focus Server Automation (MFSA) product
• Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments
• Provides technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of an engagement
• Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment
• Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learning's are documented and shared

• Strong expertise in and at least 3 years of experience with Micro Focus Server Automation product
• At least 3 years of experience designing, creating, testing and deploying content, scripts, Software Policies in Micro Focus Server Automation product
• Experience with Server Automation operations, support and troubleshooting
• Experience with other related Micro Focus software products like DDMi or Universal Discovery
• Experience with service design and service management in private cloud offering
• Experience and skills in one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) are of advantage
• Experience working in an Agile development framework (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) is a benefit
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence products for work management and documentation
• Expertise in Linux (Red Hat or Suse) and/or Windows operating system administration, sufficient to create automation content, test it and troubleshoot as needed
• Skilled in simple automation and scripting using Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell, or similar
• Good understanding of basic Network concepts and datacenter infrastructure
• Able to produce and maintain technical documentation, internal as well as customer facing
