Role Overview

We are seeking a

Cloud Security Engineer

to ensure the

security, privacy, and compliance

of the

VEROXON healthcare AI platform

across cloud environments. This role is critical to protecting

sensitive healthcare data

, enforcing

security-by-design principles

, and maintaining compliance with

HIPAA, SOC 2, and healthcare security frameworks

.

The ideal candidate will work closely with

DevOps, Architecture, Engineering, and Compliance teams

to embed security across infrastructure, pipelines, and runtime environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement

cloud security architectures

for VEROXON Secure cloud infrastructure across

AWS / Azure / GCP

Enforce

least-privilege access

using IAM, RBAC, and identity controls Implement and manage

encryption at rest and in transit

Secure Kubernetes clusters, containers, and workloads Integrate security controls into

CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)

Perform security reviews of infrastructure, configurations, and deployments Monitor security events, alerts, and logs for potential threats Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation Support

HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001

compliance initiatives Collaborate with auditors and compliance stakeholders Define and maintain cloud security standards, policies, and documentation Support incident response and security investigations

Required Skills & Experience

Core Security Experience

6-10 years of experience in

Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Security

Strong experience securing

enterprise or SaaS platforms

Hands-on expertise with cloud-native security controls

Cloud & Infrastructure Security

Hands-on experience with

AWS / Azure / GCP security services

Deep knowledge of IAM, network security, VPC/VNet design Experience securing multi-account / multi-subscription environments

Kubernetes & Container Security

Experience securing

Kubernetes clusters

Knowledge of container security best practices (image scanning, runtime security) Experience with tools like Trivy, Aqua, Prisma, or similar (preferred)

DevSecOps & Automation

Experience integrating security into

CI/CD pipelines

Infrastructure-as-Code security (Terraform scanning, policy-as-code) Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning tools

Healthcare Security & Compliance (Highly Preferred)

Experience working with

healthcare platforms or sensitive data

Strong understanding of

HIPAA, HITECH

, and healthcare privacy requirements Experience supporting

SOC 2, ISO 27001

audits Knowledge of data protection, logging, and audit trails

Monitoring & Incident Response

Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring Ability to investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation Experience with threat modeling and risk assessments

Collaboration & Communication

Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work with engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams Security advocate mindset with a balance of risk and delivery
