ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


The Cloud & DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on ensuring security at every stage of the development lifecycle, enabling reliable deployments, and strengthening overall cloud governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

CLOUD ARCHITECTURE & OPERATIONS

Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Implement cloud-native services, containerized environments, and serverless architectures. Optimize cloud performance, cost, and availability. Ensure proper monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using cloud-native or third-party tools.

DEVSECOPS & AUTOMATION

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls. Automate code deployments, testing, and environment provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm. Implement security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) and enforce secure coding practices. Integrate secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault).

SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

Embed security practices across the software development lifecycle (Shift-Left approach). Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability remediation. Ensure compliance with cloud security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO, SOC2). Manage IAM policies, network security, firewalls, and zero-trust architecture.

COLLABORATION & SUPPORT

Work closely with development, QA, architecture, and security teams to ensure secure and reliable deployments. Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and support infrastructure-related incidents. Participate in architecture reviews and propose best practices for cloud and DevSecOps.
