Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated
Associate Cloud Native Software Engineer
to join our distributed team. This role is ideal for a junior professional or a recent graduate with a strong grasp of programming fundamentals who is ready to dive into microservices and cloud-native ecosystems. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to build, test, and deploy scalable solutions.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Project Experience:
Must have completed projects using at least one:
Golang, PHP/Laravel, Python, NodeJS, C++, or Java.
Engineering Fundamentals:
Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and System Design.
Databases:
Strong SQL knowledge (MySQL or Postgres) with the ability to identify slow queries and perform debugging.
Version Control:
Familiarity with Git tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab.
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with
GCP or AWS
ecosystems (Kubernetes, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, or Serverless offerings).
Architecture:
Basic understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful API design.
Responsibilities
Development:
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies.
Execution:
Drive tasks to completion with a sense of urgency and a clear understanding of scope.
Quality Assurance:
Manually test code to ensure it conforms to requirements and write unit tests with senior guidance.
Code Reviews:
Participate in team code reviews to learn and maintain high-quality standards.
Growth:
Proactively learn development best practices and seek feedback from managers and teammates.
