ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Skills

Design, develop, and maintain

microservices

using

Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot/Spring Cloud

. Build, version, and document

RESTful APIs

with best practices (idempotency, pagination, error handling, OpenAPI/Swagger). Deploy and operate services on

GCP

, especially

GKE (Kubernetes)

--helm/kustomize, config maps, secrets, HPA, and observability. Model and implement data access patterns using

Cloud Spanner

(schemas, indexes, transactions, performance tuning). Implement

CI/CD

pipelines (Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Cloud Build) and follow trunk-based development. Ensure non-functional requirements:

scalability, reliability, security, and performance

(rate limiting, circuit breakers, retries, timeouts). Write

unit, integration, and contract tests

; contribute to code reviews and technical design docs. Instrument services with

metrics, logs, and traces

(e.g., OpenTelemetry, Cloud Monitoring/Logging). Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality releases in iterative sprints.
