Backend Lead - Java & Azure

We are looking for a

Backend Lead

with deep hands-on experience in

Java, Spring Boot, and Microsoft Azure

to design, build, and operate cloud-native backend services. This role is for engineers who exihibit

technical ownership and are hands

and have experience running production systems on Azure.

Key Skills & Requirements

Java & Spring Boot (Mandatory)

Expert Java (11/17+) with strong JVM, concurrency, and memory management knowledge Spring Boot (2.x/3.x): REST APIs, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate tuning Spring Security with OAuth2 and JWT Strong understanding of clean architecture, SOLID principles, and API versioning

Microsoft Azure (Must Be Hands-On)

Azure App Service and/or AKS Containerized Spring Boot workloads (Docker) Azure AD, Managed Identities, Key Vault Azure SQL and Cosmos DB (Core API preferred) Azure Service Bus (queues/topics) Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Basic Azure networking (VNets, private endpoints) and cost-aware design

Microservices & Distributed Systems

Designing independently deployable microservices Resilience patterns (retries, timeouts, circuit breakers) Event-driven and messaging-based architectures End-to-end API lifecycle ownership

Data & Performance

Strong SQL, indexing, and query optimization Transactions, isolation levels Caching (Redis preferred) Experience diagnosing latency, memory leaks, and throughput issues
