To be successful as a Cloud Lead Engineer, you should have experience with:
Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using industry best practices.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Monitor system performance, availability, and health using AWS CloudWatch and third-party monitoring tools.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance.
Manage IAM roles, security groups, and AWS policies to enforce secure access control.
Perform cost optimization, resource tagging, and usage analysis to manage AWS spend effectively.
Maintain and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others.
Stay current with AWS service updates, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Strong knowledge of AWS services and architecture patterns.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in AWS.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
