We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

The role of the Senior solution Architect is to provide technical leadership on the End to End payments Architecture. 10 to 15 Year of experience in IT, with more than 3 to 5 years of experience in Architecture or solution design. The person should have strong Payments domain experience as the project need end to end solution architect for real time payments, must have experience in architecting solutions using different integration paradigms (e.g., REST, Event Driven Architecture and messaging). Will lead and contribute to patterns, standards and reference architectures for all of the Application Architecture domains.

• Defining strategies, patterns, standards and reference architectures for one or more of the domains.
• Socialize Application Architecture strategies, standards, patterns and reference architectures with the rest of the Bank.
• Lead the design and development of various modern tools that are owned by Application Architecture.
• Understanding requirements from IT & Engineering teams and translate them into stories.
• Supporting the HSBC governance processes to deliver the tools and applications into production.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 10 to 15 years of experience in professional software engineering.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect delivering solution design and architectures for enterprise applications.
• Expert understanding in Java and design patterns as well the Spring framework and associated projects.
• Experience in writing patterns, standards and reference architectures for Application Architecture domains.
• Must have experience with design, development & integration experience on cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, GCP) in a continuous delivery environment.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams across geographies.
• Experience in reviewing technical decisions and articulate pros/cons of technology options based on personal experience, industry knowledge, and best practice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to successfully articulate technology concepts to both business and technology audiences
• Expert level experience with REST APIs and designing APIs using Swagger/OAS.
• Experience in Developer Process Automation (CI/CD & Code Management) like tuning and utilizing tools, such as, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker etc.
• Experience in the design of cloud native applications.
• True Micro Service Design (Mulesoft/Springboot)
• Event Driven Architecture (Kafka/PUBSUB)
• Must have understanding of Core Java

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Hands-on experience in implementing API Security and Access control (SPNEGO, OAuth, SAML, SSL) etc.
• Experience with Functional and Performance Tests, BDD, TDD is a big plus.
• Nice to have experience on API Gateway technologies such as Kong.
• Good to have knowledge on Unix/Shell Scripting/PL SQL
