We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Apigee X, API management, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable API solutions and play a key role in enterprise cloud migration and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage REST-based API proxies using Apigee X.
Define and implement API security, traffic management, analytics, and monitoring.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of API services.
Architect and configure Apigee X network components in hybrid/cloud environments.
Define governance standards for API lifecycle management.
Collaborate with solution architects to design end-to-end API integration strategies.
Lead migration efforts from legacy systems or Apigee Edge to Apigee X on GCP.
Work with cloud engineering teams to optimize infrastructure, security, and networking.
Leverage GCP services for seamless Apigee integration.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of APIs.
Ensure adherence to DevOps and cloud security best practices.
Key Skills & Qualifications
6-10 years of experience in cloud engineering, with hands-on expertise in Apigee X.
Strong knowledge of REST-based API development and architecture.
Proficiency in GCP services and Apigee X networking and migration.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and cloud automation practices.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.
