This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cloud Engineer in India.
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, and ensure high availability across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code tools, and cloud-native DevOps practices. This role provides the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, contribute to cloud architecture decisions, and enhance the overall efficiency of cloud operations while supporting a collaborative and dynamic engineering environment.
Accountabilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows and optimize release cycles.
• Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and availability across cloud environments.
• Configure and manage cloud networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and VPNs.
• Implement and maintain cloud security policies, including IAM, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
• Support hybrid/multi-cloud environments, including Azure services as needed.
• Optional: Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and compliance best practices, including IAM and VPC configuration.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
