Primary Responsibilities

• 
  As part of the Server Team, works to implement new cloud technologies and assists in
  
• administering all Cloud solutions. Creates cloud instances using both internal automation tools
  
• and vendor specific tools. Provision and configure cloud storage services.
  
• Assists in server patch management per Protect Purple guidelines and policies utilizing patch
  
• deployment tools for cloud instances.
  
• Defines and implements monitoring and alerting per industry best practices. Monitors
  
• availability and performance using appropriate tools.
  
• Monitors the compliance to the enterprise’s security policies. Performs security management
  
• tasks to include managing encryption keys and troubleshooting cloud security groups.
  
• Investigates user problems, identifies their source, helps to determine possible solutions, and
  
• assists in testing and implementing solutions.
  
• Installs, configures, and maintains servers, and other related equipment, devices, and
  
• systems.
  
• Will work on projects as assigned and will be responsible for meeting project quality
  
• requirements and deadlines.
  
• Responds to incident tickets and works to resolve incidents. Automates all Level 1 support
  
• tasks.
  
• Assists in ensuring Disaster Recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.
  
• Utilizes ITIL methodologies such as Change Management, Configuration Management, etc.
  

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Computer Science or related engineering field.
  
• Must have five (5) years of experience with Azure/Google/OCI/AWS; Mware, AHV and
  
• Microsoft Hyper-V; Solarwinds; Windows Server and Linux Server
  
• Two (2) years of experience in an enterprise IT environment working with hardware and
  
• software required.
  
• Experience with container platforms, managing Infrastructure as code environments, working
  
• in Agile and DevOps environments

OTHER KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED include:

• Solid working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Server.
  
• Knowledge of Cloud Provides/Platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google and Oracle Cloud
