Job Description

Description UKG is seeking a seasoned Virtualization/Wintel Administrator capable of integrating into an experienced team responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of company's global network, services and SAAS solution.

• Manage VMware/Openstack clusters on Production, Corporate and Test/Development environments.
• Fine tune Virtual Instance's configurations to get the best performance/resource consumption
• Detection of issues, monitoring and ownership of standards and requirements.
• Participate in capacity planning for the infrastructure.
• Document existing and new infrastructure deployments using Run Book and architecture diagrams.
• Implement processes to standardize IT practices and procedures, capacity planning and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Corporate IT, Technical Operations and DBA teams to assess future growth and capacity requirements.
• Participate in 24x7 system support rotation and handle escalations.

Qualifications The position requires practical knowledge in administrating complex virtual environments.

• Must have at least 6 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise level Virtual Infrastructure running on VMware/Open Stack or Google Cloud.
• Proper understanding setting up access control integrated with AD.
• Good understanding of Active Directory, Windows OS and user/group access including GPO.
• Good knowledge on NFS and DFS.
• Familiarity with both public cloud providers (preferably GCP).
• Ability to communicate effectively emphasizing written and oral presentation skills.
• Thorough knowledge on Elastifile/3PAR or Dell Storage with emphasis on performance and reliability is a plus.
• Excellent Debugging / Troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfortable in global working environment.
• Good at building, cultivating teamwork and mentoring.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes would be an advantage
• Full time technical degree.
• Experience working with offshore delivery company and distributed teams
• GCP certification is a plus.
