Role Overview

Walbrydge Technologies is looking for experienced

Cloud & DevOps Engineers / Leads

to architect, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure for a large-scale, multi-module product ecosystem.
This role is critical to ensuring

scalability, security, automation, and 24x7 reliability

across backend services, mobile platforms, and enterprise dashboards.

You will work closely with Solution Architects, Backend Leads, Mobile Leads, and Product teams to deliver a robust, production-grade cloud and deployment foundation.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure

Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures on

Azure and/or AWS

. Build highly available infrastructure with

auto-scaling, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery

. Own cloud networking including

VNET/VPC design, subnets, routing, gateways, and private connectivity

.

CI/CD & Automation

Design and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

for backend, frontend, Android, and iOS applications. Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using

GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

. Enable zero-downtime deployments, blue-green, and canary release strategies.

Infrastructure as Code

Implement and manage infrastructure using

Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation, Helm, and Ansible

. Maintain version-controlled, reproducible environments across dev, staging, and production.

Containers & Orchestration

Build and manage

Kubernetes (AKS/EKS)

clusters and containerized workloads. Manage Docker images, registries, service discovery, and container networking. Implement service-to-service communication patterns and service mesh where applicable.

Observability & Reliability

Set up centralized

logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting

using tools like: Prometheus, Grafana ELK / OpenSearch CloudWatch / Azure Monitor Ensure proactive monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

Security & Governance

Enforce cloud security best practices:

IAM, RBAC, secrets management, encryption, policies, and zero-trust principles

. Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and secure CI/CD pipelines. Work with architects to continuously improve security posture.

Leadership & Collaboration

Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to define deployment and release strategies. Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams. Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure reliability, performance, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

7-12 years of hands-on experience in

Cloud & DevOps engineering

. Strong expertise with

Azure and/or AWS

cloud platforms. Deep experience with

Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration

. Solid understanding of

Infrastructure as Code

tools (Terraform, ARM, Helm, Ansible). Proven experience building

CI/CD pipelines

(GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins). Hands-on experience with

monitoring, logging, and observability platforms

. Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. Experience working on

large-scale, high-availability production systems
