Help us Drive Digitalization!Your RoleAs a member of our growing Cloud team, your responsibility is the day to day development and continuous enhancement of the Airbus Digital Platform as a Service (PaaS)and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) layer to meet the demands of our business. The PaaS layer offers business projects across all program lines the vital building blocks they need to create new solutions for either new business services or increasing operational excellence. To be successful, you must have an automation-first mindset. In your role, you are part of a scrum development team and build services jointly with members of other disciplines.Your Responsibilities/TasksImplement new Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) elements defined by the platform architecture team.Deploy and maintain production system in Cloud build and maintain CI/CD pipelines Build/Maintain alerting and monitoring services.Understanding architectures to effectively design secure and scalable services and collaborate with team to build and improve featuresEnsure a smooth transition into operations to meet expected SLAs.Improve existing IaaS/PaaS elements based on customer feedback, market trends, and runtime information.Continuously increase the automation level and resilience of the IaaS/PaaS layer, i.e. in terms of self-healing capabilities and zero-touch deployment.Good knowledge of designing solutions considering cost optimization and security.Qualifications3+ years of experience as a Cloud Developer .Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing startup environment.Proficiency in the following areas:Strong knowledge of AWS services ( Lambda , Load balancer , Domain configuration - Route 53 , Storage types, Networking , API gateway and monitoring services)Good knowledge of Cloud formation templates and terraform /ARM templates.Experience building solutions with microservices/serverless architectureStrong foundation in programming & algorithms with Python/TypeScriptStrong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP ,subnetting, routing, VPC / VNet, security groups etc.).Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL (dynamo-db)and related data stores such as Postgres.Good knowledge of CI/CD pipeline. Must be able to automate deployment of solutions on cloud (AWS/Azure).Good understanding of code coverage with pytest .Create and ensure solution stability by running various tests.Proficient in version control tools ( Git )First point of contact for handling customer issues , providing guidance and recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce customer incidents.Comfortable working in a production environment requiring support during CET time or on call if required.Additionally good to have skill sets in the following areas belowBasics of Docker / KubernetesBasics of Azure cloudCertified as an AWS Developer Associate.
