Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and excellent communication skills. This role involves working closely with children with special needs, providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support to enhance their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct Psychological Assessments:

Perform comprehensive assessments to determine children's developmental and mental health needs.

Develop Treatment Plans:

Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, addressing specific psychological and behavioral challenges.

Provide Therapy Sessions:

Conduct therapy sessions to help children overcome psychological and behavioral issues.

Collaborate with Team Members:

Work closely with occupational therapists, special educators, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.

Monitor Progress:

Regularly monitor and document children's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Support Parents and Caregivers:

Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers, helping them understand and manage their child's needs.

Facilitate Group Sessions:

Conduct group therapy sessions to promote social skills and generalization of learned behaviors.

Maintain Records:

Keep detailed records of children's progress and generate reports for analysis and review.

Conduct Training:

Provide training and guidance to new therapists, fostering a cooperative and cohesive work environment.

Cases We Handle:

At THERAKids, we work with children experiencing a range of developmental and psychological challenges, including but not limited to:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Down Syndrome Other developmental delays and disabilities

Requirements:



Education:

M.Phil in Clinical Psychology.

Certification:

RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registered certificate as a Clinical Psychologist.

Experience:

Experience in pediatrics and working with children with special needs is preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
