Job Description

A clinical psychologist's job is to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health issues in patients. They also help patients develop goals and plans to improve their lives. Responsibilities

Assess

: Evaluate patients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health

Diagnose

: Identify psychological disorders

Treat

: Create and implement treatment plans

Advise

: Help patients and their families understand their condition and how to manage it

Educate

: Develop programs to raise awareness of mental health issues

Monitor

: Track patients' progress through regular meetings

Collaborate

: Consult with other professionals and communicate with family members

Research

: Stay up to date on emerging trends in psychology
