Job Description

A Clinical Psychologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They provide evidence-based therapy, counseling, and interventions to individuals, families, or groups. The role involves collaborating with healthcare teams, conducting psychological assessments, and developing treatment plans to support patient recovery. Clinical Psychologists also promote mental health awareness, research, and preventive care while maintaining confidentiality, ethical standards, and professionalism in delivering compassionate psychological services.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate patients' mental health conditions. Develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluation results. Provide therapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, or groups. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals for holistic care. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document clinical records. Educate patients about coping strategies, stress management, and resilience. Conduct research and apply evidence-based practices in psychological treatments. Uphold ethical standards ensuring confidentiality, dignity, and professional boundaries.

Skill & Experience

Strong knowledge of psychological theories, therapies, and clinical practices. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients. Empathy and compassion to support patients with sensitive conditions. Analytical thinking to interpret assessments and design treatment strategies. Ability to manage stress and remain calm under pressure. Research and documentation skills with proficiency in clinical reporting.
