2 days in a week - Every Wednesday and Friday

Qualification:

Registered Counsellor having RCI number (OR having applied for it)

Scope of Services:

The school counsellor will provide the following services:

One-on-one counselling:

Support for students facing personal or academic challenges.

Group sessions/workshops:

On stress management, peer pressure, self-esteem, and conflict resolution.

Crisis intervention:

Support in the event of trauma, loss, or other urgent mental health issues

.

Communication material

Collaboration with teachers and parents:

Working together to create a comprehensive support network for students.Connecting students with external mental health professionals when needed.

Certain responsibilities will FALL OUTSIDE the SCOPE of a school counsellor's professional role. Such as;

Diagnosing Psychological Disorders -

identify signs of distress

and refer students, but they

will not be mandated to diagnose clinical conditions

(like ADHD, anxiety, or depression) - that's the role of psychologists or psychiatrists.

Long-Term Therapy or Clinical Counselling

Disciplinary Action or Enforcement

Teaching Full Academic Courses

Performing Administrative or Clerical Duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 6 per week
