A reputed franchisee unit of a leading beverage industry, engaged in the manufacturing and bottling of popular branded beverages. The unit ensures strict adherence to quality control, hygiene, and food safety standards as per company and regulatory guidelines, with a modern, well-equipped plant in Aliyabada, Jamnagar.
About the Role:
The Lab Assistant will be responsible for conducting quality checks, sample analysis, and supporting the quality assurance and production teams by ensuring product consistency, safety, and compliance with quality standards in beverage production.
Key Role Objectives:
Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Perform routine lab testing for parameters like pH, TDS, sugar content, and microbiological safety.
Maintain lab records, test reports, and documentation as per company protocols.
Ensure timely reporting of test results to the QA/Production department.
Monitor hygiene, water treatment, and cleaning schedules.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Follow safety and quality control procedures as per food safety standards.
Support daily production sampling and pre-dispatch quality checks.
Basic Requirements:
Qualification: B.Sc in Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Technology
Experience: Fresher or 1-2 years in a food/beverage industry lab or quality control department
Good knowledge of lab testing, food safety norms, and hygiene practices.
Familiarity with basic lab instruments and testing methods.
Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to Aliyabada, Jamnagar
Salary:
15,000 to 20,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Working Hours:
09:00 AM to 07:00 PM
