MSC Nursing

EXPERIENCE:




1 - 2 years Hospital experience preferred



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Trainings to be conducted: For strengthening the wards and departments with quality and trained manpower, thus contributing to reduced attrition. CLASSROOM TRAINING SESSIONS ON JOB TRAINING SESSIONS

Clinical training along with the Clinical Instructor as per modules followed in KEM and preparation of new PPTs as and when required Training on basic nursing procedure & advanced nursing procedure i.e. administration of medication, monitoring patient vitals, standard precautions, BMW management etc.


Arranging / conducting Behavioral / soft skills training Documentation for nurses


Training on patient safety & hygiene and personal hygiene Training as per Nurses' handbook


Accreditation ( ISO, NABH) related training for nurses, admin and housekeeping staff Training of housekeeping staff



+ Planning and preparing for the trainings well in advance - target groups, training materials and contents, scheduling and logistics.
+ Planning and preparing pre and post training assignments, analysis of scores and action plan based on the results.
+ Planning and arranging Induction and nursing Induction for newly joined candidates
+ Indenting for materials required in the classroom and in office and maintaining minimum stock and keeping track of assets allocated to the department.
+ Arranging and facilitating trainings by external faculties and internal members from various departments, HODs, doctors and others. Keeping record and maintain statistics of all such trainings.
+ Scheduling and arranging for film screening as and when planned.
+ Helping HR for arranging and conducting retirement functions.
+ Conducting practical interviews for nurses along with the Clinical Instructor.
+ Plan for and implements a program of in-service education for nursing staff
+ Taking rounds in the patient areas for noting the deficits on which training will be required.
+ Regularly motivate and counsel the staff to take care of patients more efficiently
+ Ensure standard nursing care in harmony with accepted philosophy, objectives and policies
+ Work in line with quality cell for identifying training requirement as per NABH and confirming the availability of signage in various patient care areas and departments.
+ Maintaining departmental records, data, files and formats and designing new formats as per requirement.
+ Observing members for their behavioral / soft skill training needs and follow-up thereof.
+ Updating training calendars as and when required.
+ Coordinating with HODs of nursing, medical, paramedical and admin departments as and when required.
+ Sharing ideas and plans for improvement in operations and systems.
+ Preparing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions etc.
+ The following forms and / or data are to be maintained, tracked and analysed in the department on a monthly basis:
+ Training calendar
+ Attendance sheets
+ Training records
+ Nomination forms
+ TNI forms
+ Training feedback forms
+ Training effective measurement (TEM)
+ Question papers and answer sheets
+ Soft copy of Monthly Training Sheet
+ Soft copy of Post Training Tracker
+ Soft copy of Attendance Tracker
+ Maintaining the L&D department and classroom's neatness and controlling of department inventory.
+ Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD / Management in the course of business / work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit / dept from time to time.
