Dietitians assess individuals' nutritional needs and create personalized food and nutrition plans to improve health, manage diseases, and achieve specific goals
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and counsel: Evaluate clients' or patients' health, lifestyle, and dietary needs to determine nutritional requirements. Provide personalized counseling and education on healthy eating habits.
Develop nutrition plans: Create individualized meal and nutrition plans based on health status, age, preferences, budget, and cultural factors. These plans can involve dietary changes, supplementation, or specific exclusion diets.
Collaborate with healthcare teams: Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure nutritional needs are met.
Monitor and evaluate: Track clients' progress, reassess their nutritional status, and make adjustments to plans as needed.
Promote public health: Design and implement food and nutrition programs in institutions like schools, hospitals, and public clinics to promote healthy eating across different populations.
Qualifications:
Master's /Bachelor's degree in in Nutrition and Dietetics
1-3 years of experience as Dietician in any hospital
