Job Summary:

Attend daily medical rounds and conduct thorough nutritional assessments of patients based on medical history, physical exams, and lab results. Maintain all patient records, nutritional assessments, and daily progress notes Design and implement specialized dietary plans for various conditions. Consult with doctors and nursing staff to integrate nutritional therapy into overall patient treatment plans. Counsel patients and their families on healthy eating habits, food-drug interactions, and long-term lifestyle changes. Monitor the hospital kitchen to ensure food preparation meets safety & hygiene standards and follows the prescribed dietary guidelines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and nutritional interventions. Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and enteral/parenteral nutrition.

Experience and Skills:

- 2 to 3 years of experience

- Strong clinical assessment abilities, such as interpreting lab values, calculating nutrient needs, and understanding drug-nutrient interactions. Communication skills for patient counseling, critical thinking for personalized care plans, and knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for conditions like diabetes or renal disease are vital.
