Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' nutritional status based on medical conditions, lab reports, and dietary history
Develop individualized diet plans for inpatients and outpatients
Provide nutrition counseling for patients with diabetes, renal disorders, cardiac conditions, obesity, gastrointestinal diseases, etc.
Monitor and document patients' progress and modify diet plans as required
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and kitchen staff for therapeutic diets
Ensure compliance with hospital diet protocols and food safety standards
Educate patients and attendants on healthy eating habits and lifestyle modification
Participate in clinical rounds and case discussions as required
Maintain accurate nutrition records and reports
Support NABH / quality standards related to clinical nutrition services
