What you will do Working with key stakeholders, this position will manage data management activities throughout the lifecycle of a clinical study. These tasks will include eCRF creation, performing UAT, authoring data management plans, data cleaning activities, and database lock processes.This role will also contribute to updating data management processes, procedures, and associated forms. Work with database programmer and study team to design EDC database. This includes eCRF creation, edit check specifications, and database specifications. Perform and document EDC database UAT. Author essential data management documents for clinical studies (CCGs, Data Management Plan, Data Transfer Specs, etc) Review and provide input into Protocol, SAPs, etc Assist with data listing design for data review and performing periodic data reviews. Manage queries to ensure data completeness and integrity. Perform pre-lock and data lock tasks. Design, generate, and review status metric reports as needed. Provide regular status updates and keep the team and management informed of any changes. Organize and file study documentation. Represent data management in inspections/audits as needed. Provide input into development and revisions of CDS department SOPs. Maintain necessary documentation as required by SOPs. What You need Bachelor\'s Degree or Equivalent 3+ years of experience managing clinical studies in a data management role (Device, Pharma, or Biotech). Strong proficiency in EDC systems (Rave, IBM, Oracle, etc) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with colleagues and customers. Ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision and adapt to changes in responsibilities and workloads. Must be professional, possess a high degree of urgency and self-motivation, and have a strong work ethic. Must possess a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality with HIPAA and GDPR guidelines, and other confidential information.
