We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting medical staff and ensuring a high level of patient care in our outpatient and emergency medicine settings. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical procedures, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care in both outpatient and emergency settings. Perform basic life support and emergency procedures as needed. Administer medications according to established protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for services rendered. Conduct preliminary assessments and gather relevant medical history from patients. Support the operation of a Level I Trauma Center by ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently. Provide education to patients regarding their treatment plans and medication administration. Collaborate with internal medicine teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Uphold high standards of hygiene and safety within the clinical environment.

Requirements

Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology is essential. Experience in outpatient or emergency medicine is preferred. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Familiarity with coding practices for medical services is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
