Clinic reception and coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. They are responsible for managing front-desk operations including patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing assistance, and coordination between patients and Doctors to ensure efficient workflow and a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Register patients, verify personal and insurance information
Schedule appointments
Handle incoming phone calls and respond to queries
Maintain patient records and ensure data entry accuracy
Coordinate with lab technicians and pathologists
Collect payments and issue receipts/invoices
Prepare daily reports of patient visits and transactions
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Ensure confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliance or local privacy laws)
