The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care, smooth administrative workflows, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role combines operational leadership, staff management, and patient experience oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
Manage day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
Oversee appointment scheduling, patient flow, and front-desk operations
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and safety standards
Maintain clinic records, reports, and documentation
Staff Management
Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate administrative and support staff
Develop staff schedules and manage attendance
Foster a positive, professional, and patient-centered work environment
Address staff performance issues and support professional development
Patient Experience
Ensure high standards of patient service and satisfaction
Handle patient concerns, complaints, and feedback professionally
Implement processes to improve patient engagement and retention
Financial & Inventory Management
Monitor clinic budgets, expenses, and revenue targets
Oversee billing, insurance coordination, and payment processes
Manage inventory of medical and office supplies
Coordinate with vendors and service providers
Coordination & Communication
Act as liaison between medical staff, administration, and external partners
Support physicians and healthcare providers in operational needs
Prepare regular performance and operational reports for leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Proven experience as a clinic manager or healthcare administrative role
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinic operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in clinic management software and MS Office
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
