This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Clinical Data Manager in India.
This role offers the opportunity to manage and oversee clinical data activities for complex studies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. You will play a pivotal part in the full data lifecycle, from study start-up through database lock, including database testing, query management, and lab data reconciliation. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain high data quality standards. You will contribute to process improvements, generate reports, and ensure smooth data operations across multiple clinical trials. This position combines analytical expertise with collaborative teamwork in a dynamic, international, and patient-focused environment.
Accountabilities

• Manage clinical data activities throughout the study lifecycle, from protocol initiation to database lock.
• Perform validation of EDC systems, edit checks, and associated data management reports.
• Create and manage EDC user accounts and maintain data management documentation.
• Track, review, and reconcile lab reference ranges, serious adverse events, and vendor data.
• Support query management and resolution to ensure data integrity.
• Provide study metric reports and regular updates to Project Data Managers and study teams.
• Escalate issues promptly and propose solutions to maintain timely delivery of data management tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• 2-5 years of clinical data management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO settings.
• Experience with EDC systems, database build, and user acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of data validation, query management, and data reconciliation processes.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with global project teams.
• Familiarity with medical coding and clinical trial processes is a plus.
