Reports to : Manager Department : Equity Financing Services (Prime Brokerage, Mumbai) Position Description : Trainees are responsible for providing a support role to the accounting and client reporting team. Principal Duties: . Support client service associates and operational personnel for servicing the Prime Brokerage clients for: o Daily client activities in the nature of reconciliation of positions, transactions, pricing of portfolio o Maintenance of MS Excel based MIS for recording email . Support client service associates and operational personnel to validate dividend and interest accruals in clients' portfolio and ensure that the same is accrued and paid correctly. Skills Expected: . Requires ability to prioritize project activities good written and verbal communication skills good working knowledge in the appropriate computer programs such as MS Excel, MS Word and some basic knowledge of financial services field. . Must be able to learn quickly and to engage in a number of detailed tasks at once. . Must have strong flexibility in regard to the duties assigned and problem solving skills and is able to work independently.
