Handle sales of food-processing machinery and maintain smooth coordination with government bodies, clients, and internal teams. Build relationships, generate inquiries, and support project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads and convert them into orders for company machinery.
Visit clients, distributors, and industry partners to pitch products.
Liaison with govt. departments, industrial authorities, and approval bodies for documentation, tenders, and compliance.
Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and payments.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support after-sales queries.
Track market trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
Coordinate with the production and service team for dispatches and installations.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
Requirements:
2-5 years experience
in industrial / capital equipment sales (food-processing machinery preferred).
Strong liaison skills
with govt. departments, industry associations, and approval authorities.
Good understanding
of tenders, documentation, compliance, and basic technical specs.
Excellent communication & negotiation
skills; confident in client meetings and site visits.
Ability to travel
for field work, client visits, and government follow-ups.
Basic engineering/technical aptitude
to understand machine features and explain them to clients.
Proficiency in MS Office, email, CRM
and maintaining sales records.
Own vehicle
preferred for field movement.
Self-driven, target-oriented
, and comfortable working independently.
