Job Title: Business Development Associate- BNI



(Focused on Launch, Events & Leadership Identification)

Job Purpose:



The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the expansion and sustainability of BNI in the region through the successful launch of new chapters, the organization of impactful events, and the identification and development of future leaders. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent networking, mentoring, and organizational skills.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)



1. New Chapter Launches



Objective:

Drive successful and timely launches of new BNI chapters.

Key Responsibilities:



Identify potential core team members in target locations. Handhold and mentor Launch Director Consultants (LDCs). Ensure launch timelines are met with full chapter readiness.

KPI:



No. of chapters launched per quarter. % of launches done within BNI's defined timeline.

2. BNI Events



Objective:

Create momentum, visibility, and membership opportunities through strategic events.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan, promote, and execute strategic events (e.g., Visitors Days, Info Sessions, Launch Events, Regional Days). Collaborate with leadership and chapters to drive attendance and visibility. Use events as a platform for member engagement and new member acquisition. Ensure alignment with BNI branding, values, and goals.

KPI:



No. of events organized. Member and visitor engagement generated through events.

3. Identifying and Grooming New Leaders



Objective:

Build a strong leadership pipeline to sustain chapter health and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:



Spot potential leaders during chapter interactions and events. Recommend suitable members for leadership, launch, or DC roles. Coordinate with Support Directors to initiate mentoring and training.

KPI:



No. of leaders identified per quarter (LT or LDC or DC potential). No. of potential leaders groomed and appointed. Feedback from chapters on leadership strength and depth.

4. Tracking Results and Growth in Existing Chapters



Objective:

Ensure continuous improvement and alignment with BNI's systems by monitoring chapter performance and supporting sustainable growth.
