Job Description

This position is for Code Build Team in Oracle PeopleSoft Applications Division and expects the person to have extensive working experience in ClearCase Configuration Management of large projects (large code and test bases, multi-sited, hundreds of users) with clear understanding of CI/CD best practices & procedures of release engineering like configuration management systems in a distributed environment, defining and designing branching & merging methodologies. Job involves in administration of the source code management system, IBM Rational ClearCase Multisite for all development teams within PeopleSoft.

As a part of continuous delivery model, PeopleSoft & Cloud application product development uses agile methodology, and this position would also drive a series of DevOps initiatives around continuous integration and continuous testing. This person will be involved in design, develop new systems and to lead the projects in the capacity of architect. Person taking up this position should interact with cross functional teams within and outside the division, including executive management. Mandatory Skill Sets

• Administration and maintenance of the source code management system for the development projects
• Should have worked at an architect level role and implemented ClearCase solutions in a product development setup, especially in continuous integration and continuous testing.
• Installation, Upgrade & Implementation, Support of ClearCase
• Administer regions & registries
• Creation, administration, and population of ClearCase repositories.
• Manager VOB and Views
• VOB creation, migration, transfer, etc.
• Change VOB ownership move and remove a VOB.
• Checking Heath of a VOB Dynamic views
• Trouble shooting import elements into a VOB
• Administer Storage Pool
• Schedule Jobs
• Manage ClearCase access control
• Set up ClearCase licensing
• Backup and restore ClearCase objects
• Policy enforcements using triggers
• Multi-sync / Merging / scrubbing, etc.
• Setup of automatic synchronization between ClearCase servers
• Monitor of ClearCase logs, Windows logs, OS updates - Manage antivirus protection / back-ups
• Instruct & guide developers to work with ClearCase - Install ClearCase clients
• Experience in Managing stakeholder communication and progress reporting
• Technical documentation
• Facilitation skills - including strong oral and written communication
• Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong infrastructure background with a track record of global execution
• Systems management and administration of Linux and Window Systems.
• Exposure to any DevOps tools and methodologies is encouraged.

Qualifications & Personal Attributes:

• Minimum of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, MCA, or equivalent with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge on Build and Release Management Processes and build process automation using tools Python, PHP, Perl, Java, Shell, and Batch Scripts.
• Managing stakeholder communication and progress reporting.
• Excellent decision making, communication and presentation skills to enable presenting ideas at various development and executive forums.
• Work independently and at the same time help and drive the team in technical aspects.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving and analytical skills.

Added advantage skills:

• Should be able to visualize and be able to design systems, preempt possible outcomes, risks and be able to suggest alternate solutions
• Flexible to learn new technologies
• Experience working in an Agile methodology
• Experience in SQLs and Oracle database concepts is a plus
• Automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Ant, Ivy, UrbanCode, Docker, or comparable tool is a plus.
