Position Overview

The Cleaning Staff is responsible for ensuring that the coffee shop remains clean, hygienic, and well-presented at all times. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in customer areas, service counters, kitchen, restrooms, and storage spaces to create a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Area Cleaning

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly. Wipe and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, and service areas. Remove used cups, plates, and waste promptly. Ensure windows, doors, and glass surfaces are clean and streak-free.

Kitchen & Service Area Cleaning

Clean and sanitize workstations, preparation counters, and equipment. Dispose of food waste and follow proper waste segregation practices. Assist in dishwashing and maintaining utensils in hygienic condition. Ensure bins are emptied, cleaned, and replaced with liners regularly.

Restroom & Utility Cleaning

Clean and disinfect restrooms, washbasins, and fixtures. Refill toiletries such as soap, tissue paper, and sanitizers. Maintain restroom cleanliness throughout shifts.

General Duties

Follow cleaning schedules and checklists provided by the supervisor. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely as per training. Report any maintenance issues (leaks, damages, broken fixtures) to the supervisor. Adhere to hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.

Skills & Requirements

Basic knowledge of cleaning practices and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties. Attention to detail and cleanliness. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
