1. Role Overview

Teachers at Sanskriti School, Kompally, are responsible for delivering high-quality education aligned with the school's academic philosophy, ensuring holistic development of students. The role demands strong classroom management, effective lesson planning, student evaluation, and active participation in school activities.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Academic Responsibilities

Develop and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives. Use activity-based, experiential, and student-centric teaching methodologies. Prepare classwork, homework, worksheets, assessments, and project assignments. Evaluate student performance through periodic tests, assignments, and observations. Integrate digital tools, audio-visual content, and interactive methods to enhance learning. Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and student progress reports accurately.

B. Classroom Management

Create a positive, safe, inclusive and disciplined learning environment. Manage classroom behaviour through constructive and encouraging methods. Ensure effective utilization of teaching aids and resources.

C. Student Development

Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support as needed. Encourage students' participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Support the emotional and social well-being of learners.

D. Communication & Coordination

Maintain consistent communication with parents through meetings, diaries, emails, and phone calls when required. Coordinate with subject teachers, co-teachers, grade coordinators, and administrative staff. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.

E. Administrative Duties

Maintain attendance records and documentation as per school standards. Ensure timely completion of syllabus, assessments, and reporting. Contribute to school functions, celebrations, annual day, exhibitions, and other academic initiatives.

3. Qualifications & ExperienceFor Grades I-V

Bachelor's degree (preferably B.A./B.Sc.) with

B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.

Prior teaching experience in primary classes preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to handle younger learners with patience.

For Grades VI-VIII

Bachelor's degree with

B.Ed. in relevant subject specialization

(English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Hindi, Telugu, Computer Science, etc.). Minimum

2-3 years of teaching experience

preferred. Ability to teach grade-level concepts with clarity and depth.

4. Required Skills

Excellent spoken and written communication (English proficiency required). Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity. Classroom management and student engagement skills. Creativity in teaching methods. Patience, empathy, and a student-first mindset. Ability to use technology (smart boards, MS Office, digital platforms).

5. Personal Attributes

Punctual, reliable, and professional. Positive attitude and collaborative spirit. Strong ethical conduct and commitment to student growth. Willingness to learn and participate in continuous training.

6. Work Schedule

Full-time position with 5/6-day work week depending on the school calendar. Required to attend staff meetings, PTMs, events, and training sessions as scheduled.

7. Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and school norms.
