Roles & Responsibilities

Teach

Indian Classical Vocal Music

(Hindustani style) to students across different age groups. Train students in

Alaap, Taan, Bandish, Khayal, Dhrupad, Tarana, and Bhajans

. Provide

theoretical knowledge

of Ragas, Taals, and compositions along with practical lessons. Prepare students for

stage performances, music examinations (Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Trinity, etc.), and competitions

. Guide students in

voice culture, sur, taal, and improvisation techniques

. Encourage appreciation of Indian Classical Music and its cultural depth. Collaborate with other faculty for

concerts, fusion programs, and workshops

. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate/Postgraduate/Diploma in

Indian Classical Vocal Music

from a recognized university or music academy. Minimum

2-3 years of teaching/performing experience

(exceptional freshers may also be considered). Strong command over

Raag system, Taal system, and compositions

. Excellent vocal ability and knowledge of

music theory & history

. Good communication skills and ability to teach both

beginners and advanced students

. Passionate about teaching and preserving

Indian Classical Music traditions

Pay: ₹11,729.86 - ₹30,000.00 per month
