Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and passionate Classical Dance Teacher to train students across various grades in Indian classical dance forms.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities

Proficiency in one or more Indian Classical Dance forms (Bharatanatyam / Kuchipudi / Kathak / Odissi, etc.) Strong foundation in adavu technique, mudras, abhinaya, tala, and theory Ability to train students age-wise and grade-wise, from beginners to advanced levels Experience in choreographing performances for school events, competitions, and cultural programmes Capability to conduct practical and theory sessions as per school curriculum Knowledge of costumes, makeup, stage presentation, and expressions Ability to instil discipline, grace, rhythm, and cultural values in students Excellent communication skills and a patient, motivating teaching approach Willingness to collaborate with music, drama, and event teams Commitment to regular classes, practice schedules, and rehearsals
Qualifications & Experience

Formal training under a recognized Guru / Institution Certification / Diploma / Degree in Classical Dance Prior teaching experience in a school or academy preferred
