Hiring: Classical Dance Teacher (Female)

Responsibilities:

Teach and train students in Indian Classical Dance forms (e.g., Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Odissi, etc.) as per school curriculum. Conduct regular dance classes for different grades, nurturing rhythm, expression, and posture in students. Choreograph performances for annual functions, cultural programs, assemblies, and inter-school competitions. Introduce students to the cultural and traditional aspects of Indian classical dance. Prepare lesson plans and maintain discipline and engagement during practice sessions. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and encouragement. Collaborate with music and art departments for integrated cultural presentations. Ensure costumes, music, and stage setups are organized for performances.

Qualification & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree / Diploma in Indian Classical Dance from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of teaching or performance experience preferred. Expertise in one or more classical dance forms (Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong stage management and choreography skills. Passionate about teaching and promoting Indian cultural heritage.
